Inspired by traders’ rice bowls used on ships during the Edo period, our Hasami Ware modernizes both function and tradition. This soup cup is perfect for a side portion of miso soup or as a small bowl for side dishes.

Hasami, Japan is known for its rich tradition of quality white porcelain. Made of Amakusa ceramic stone, Hasami-Ware is characterized by its transparent white color and traditional pattern designs passed through generations.

The Arabesque pattern features interwoven flowing floral lines.
