Capturing the delicate charm of Japans summer rainy season, this glass cup features a soft, floral design inspired by blooming hydrangeas.

Hydrangeas, or ajisai (), are deeply associated with early summer in Japan. Theyre celebrated for their ability to thrive in fleeting, humid weathermaking them a symbol of resilience, renewal, and seasonal beauty. Their soft, shifting hues have long made them a favorite subject in poetry, art, and garden design.

This glass cup reflects that same ephemeral elegance, with a gentle hydrangea design and a translucent finish that catches the light beautifully. Whether used for chilled tea, seasonal sweets, or simply displayed, it brings a touch of early summer to any moment. Each piece is handblown by Tsugaru Vidro, a glassmaker with over 50 years of expertise. Rooted in the traditions of Aomori Prefecture, their work is known for its vibrant colors and refined craftsmanship.
